What is vevovox?
vevovox is a content sharing site with a difference. It was built with the express purpose of enabling web users to set up, manage and publish content as a tribute to their deceased loved ones. With the intention to have family and friends contribute their content, in the form of comments, images and videos (coming soon). Kind of like an 'online book of remembrance'.
Why do I need vevovox to do this?
Well, I guess in theory you don't, if you have the know how, web space and tools to do it all yourself. Otherwise, you can use our purpose built application and make it easy on yourself.
What will I be able to do using vevovox?
You can set up content in a biography area, a image gallery area (with multiple galleries) and a tributes area. Think of it as publishing an 'online book of remembrance'. Available 24/7/365 to be enjoyed by all those who's lives have been touched by someone who has passed on. It will be our intention to act on customer suggestions for improving the tools and developing them to an even greater standard than they are already at.
What does vevovox mean?
vevovox is a play on the Latin words vivo and vox, which loosely interpreted means 'life voice'.
Does it cost anything to set up a vevovox account?
We are passionate not to include any advertising on your vevovox tribute site, to allow us to do this we make a small yearly charge for using our tools, web space and unlimited bandwidth (visitors to your site). So how much? Just $55 per year, yup per year.
Are the vevovox accounts regulated?
We welcome any feedback, and will be swift to investigate any reports of abuse, inappropriate, misleading or slanderous content.
Are there any content limitations?
No, you can add as much content (and have 100s or even 1000s) of people make contributions to your loved one's vevovox site.
Can I upload videos to my vevovox account?
We hope to add this feature very soon - and will let you know.
